Pay attention to Wayne Muromoto's post in particular.Tiger Scroll of the Koga Ninja by Jay Sensei Download PDF EPUB FB2 I have no idea what their actual relationship is. The site Hombre out up in relation to Kawakami (no idea if Kawakami knows about it) is here: Hombre did train with him - he put up the pics on his site. Kawakami's not associated with anyone claiming Koga-ryu in the West. Jinichi Kawakami claims to have inherited part of the Koga (Koka, nowadays) ninjutsu tradition (and in fact one the Iga-Ueno ninja museums recognizes him as the 21st head of it, just as the park in Togakushi recognizes Hatsumi). He did have some degree of association with Shoto Tanemura, cutting both ways, as he's shown letters from Tanemura about things like seminar sponsorship. Of course, Hatsumi is *also* associated with the ninja village in Togakushi but not many people in the West know about that. Actually, he's associated with Jinichi Kawakami, though he did claim a different individual from the Koga Ninja Village as a "teacher." Kawakami and the researcher are not the same person.
